THE/M is a hybrid between a Research Institute, Nightclub, and Artist Residency. Founded to contribute to the acknowledgement of Nightculture as a legitimate site of artistic production & research. A space where artists, designers, and researchers jointly explore the artistic, social, political, and technological dimensions of the night — in a direct dialogue with the audience.

In 2026, THE/M will open its doors with a capacity of 300 people. THE/M is located on the torpedo supply ship Mercuur.
